Edun-T is a born-listener and free improvisor and she is producing and presenting the sounds, that is making her feel, reflect and imagine.
She is truly channeling both surroundings and spirit while singing.
Ever since her childhood, she has been fascinated with radios, tape recorders, textures and raw voices as the basal core of things. Tanja works in the field of singing, sound art, noise and healing and has worked with site-specific real sound for more than 20 years.
Field recordings picks up ambiance. Microphones register the surfaces of the location – or amplify the hollistic frequency performance -here and now – resonating.
Or take the recordings into the studio to re-organize time and place.
The result is vived sound-collages of everyday life and live interactions with various people, things , places and atmosphere.
Working collaboratively and individually Tanja Schlander has been performing at soundart festivals, galleries, biennials and music venues in All of Europe, The middle East and Scandinavia.

Schlander initiated an epic Compilation of the danish Hip Hop Scene performing in native tounge. 12 bands from all over Denmark.

In 1999 She ran her own radiostation, Radio Magica – the sound of humans on 102,9 FM in Copenhagen, and her real sound based works, has been broadcast of DR (The Danish broadcast cooperation), on several private and pirate radiostations through out Europe and her works have been exhibited internationally on galleries and biennalles.
Ever since her beginning Edun has been performing as a NEODADA’IST on contact microphones, tape recorders, umbrellas and freestyle poetry at major international events such at venues like: Radio Riff, Salzburg Festspiele, Schauspiel Haus, Klangkonferenz, Dada-festwochen, Studio Beige, SoundArt Festival, Overgaden, Literature Festival, Roskilde Festival, Gallery 21, Ungdomshuset, Radio Patapoe, Musicon, Den frie Udstillingsbygning, Prøvehallerne. Distortion festival, Filosofgangen, SPLab, Riddehallen and Rum46.
In the the Age of Aquarius she is taking up more and more space as a singer, atmospheric percussionist and Score-composer. Moving away from the static movements in electronics to dive into the the physical sound of live improvised singing.
